Working with a guest speaker or with audiovisual material in a group or classroom evokes feelings amongst the children or people in the group. Together with Lieneke Akkerman Anne-Ruth Wertheim has developed a method to deal with these feelings.

The method enables the participants to discover what it is about their feelings and ideas that defines them and others, what is unique. And it gives them a chance to experience what they have in common, what is universal.
The unique as well as the universal can give them a sense of not being alone, of sharing their lives. And at some point in the future, perhaps they will act to help combat injustice.
